The possibility of using a propulsive platform for the transport of Spacelab payloads was investigated. Topics which were dealt with include system analytical considerations on the concept of a Spacelab-Experimenten-Antriebsplattform (SEAP - Spacelab Experiments Propulsive Platform), and a description, and an analysis of the SEAP subsystems, such as the propulsive system, orbits and performance attitude control, energy housekeeping, and power supply.
