The development of the first phase of the antenna tracking system of the German experimental ship station is presented. The general description includes mechanical construction, drive and control systems, operation mode, and ship position measurement. Technical data and details of mass, moment of inertia, center of gravity, drive control, zero adjustment, and rotation direction of the antenna axis and maximum rotation velocity are also given.
