The mission status of the ground segment, launch vehicle, satellite and communication facilities of the Mono Electro-Optical Stereo Scanner (MEOSS) project is summarized. The MEOSS will be launched by an improved version of the SLV-3, capable of deploying a 300 kg satellite in 400 km orbit. The satellite is one of the Stretched Rohini series, three-axis stabilized.
