The uniformity of the mechanical properties of cured samples of preimpregnated lots of carbon-epoxy composites was studied in order to establish correlations applicable to quality control inspection procedures. The tensile strength variation coefficient is 7.8% in preimpregnated samples, sufficient to assure minimum reception requirements.
