The report describes the proposal for the launch of approximately 20 automated science and applications spacecraft per year. These launches are for NASA programs and those of other U.S. government agencies, private organizations, such as the Comsat Corporation, foreign countries, and international organizations. Launches occur from Cape Kennedy, Florida; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; Wallops Island, Virginia; and the San Marco Platform in the Indian Ocean off Kenya. A summary of beneficial and adverse environmental effects is given.
