The Northside-Northway Connection (Interstate Route 687) is a proposed divided highway beginning at an interchange with the Northside Route (I90) east of Everett Road in the City of Albany and extending Northwesterly approximately four miles to an interchange with the Adirondack Northway (I87). The Albany-Schenectady Route will extend from this interchange at the Adirondack Northway to an interchange with Route 155 near the Albany Airport. The Albany Crosstown Extension (Route 85) will be a four lane limited access divided highway beginning at the existing Albany Crosstown Interchange with Interstate Route 90 and extending north to an interchange with the proposed Interstate Route 687 in the Town of Colonie, north of Sand Creek Road. A brief summary of adverse and beneficial environmental effects is included.
