The project consists of constructing a reef along a 1200-foot section of renourished beach, which will be about 200 feet wide. It is located on Presque Isle Peninsula, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Restoration of the beach will restore the bathing beach lost through erosive action of the lake and enhance public recreation. No apparent adverse environmental effects are foreseen.
