Data were acquired during the CINOF time period of 5-29 June 1972 with The Aerospace Corporation omnidirectional spectrometer aboard the synchronous altitude spacecraft ATS-1 (1966-110A). During the CINOF time period, the ATS-1 instrument countrate was substantially above background during 8-10 June and 16-20 June. A proton intensity increase was observed at 1312 UT on 17 June resulting from a sudden commencement. At three other times, substantial proton enhancements were observed, presumably due to a change in the interplanetary particle and field configuration. (Author)
