The report details aerial port container handling equipment types and quantities recommended for the 1975 to 1980 time period. Included is a five-year phased fund program for the limited quantity of equipment needed for handling projected 1980 container volumes and for a base for future expansion of container handling systems. The report provides a review of tests conducted on land-sea containers by the Air Force to determine air transportability and provides loading and tie-down patterns for various pallet/platform configurations and containers for the C-130, C-141, and C-5 aircraft.
