The system is for controlling the attitude of a space vehicle about three orthogonal axes. The system includes a sun sensor and an earth sensor which generate signals indicative of the direction of deviation of the vehicle from a predetermined attitude. Three gyroscopes are used to orient the vehicle in any arbitrary direction with respect to the Sun and Earth reference directions for short periods of time.
