Beginning north of the Norfolk and Western Railway - Maryland Route 632 grade crossing, a proposed road relocation will require the construction of a three span continuous composite steel beam bridge. The total length of the project is about .9 miles. The purpose of this project is to eliminate the grade crossing of Maryland Route 632 and the Norfolk and Western Railway. An adverse effect which cannot be avoided is the need for acquiring additional rights of way for the proposed relocation. Included in this acquisition is one large 'quonset-hut' type metal building, vacant commercial and industrial lands, and a section of land from a miniature golf course.
