Based on the results of the demonstration, it is concluded that: (1) Radioactive taxi guidance is technically feasible. (2) Weight and volume of the present detector are excessive for the function performed. (3) The non-homogeneity of radiation source produces faulty guidance signals. (4) Pilots experience difficulty in maneuvering, due to lack of a reference to determine rate of change in the maneuver. (Author)
