An attempt was made to solve the problems of space vehicle entry and descent into the planetary atmospheres of Mars, Jupiter, and Venus. Data cover atmospheric composition and density, planetary temperature, and physical properties of planet surface. Problems with high accelerations, pressures, and temperatures on vehicle thermal shielding are also covered.
