This report identifies and evaluates the existing transportation trends and issues in Bethel and Dillingham, Alaska, and the western regional areas served through these communities. The potential affects of these trends on Dillingham to the year 2000 are also forecasted. Air transportation is the primary mode of moving people, and marine transportation is the primary mode of moving goods. The study focuses on identifying existing trends and the future implications of these trends on regional air and marine transportation facilities and services.
