The modified L-19A Airplane was flown in the vicinity of Fort Rucker, Alabama, by personnel of the US Army Aviation Board and the US Army Aviation School for a 14-day period under existing local weather conditions. Tests included an evaluation under those specific conditions obtainable during simulated and actual phases of pilot training.
