There are three major ports on the Gulf of Mexico in Mississippi. The thrust of this research will be to access the technical performance of the three ports. An analysis of the technical performance rates of the various port segments to determine capacity utilization and make recommendations as to where additional input could be achieved. Data gathered and analysis performed in this study will provide baseline data for planning, design, improvement and assessment of the nation's intermodal ports.
