The new bridge will provide a much faster, safer and more efficient means of transportation than now exists. This proposed structure will provide direct access to a new Coast Guard facility which is intended to be located in this area. Noise, air and water pollution will decrease due to keeping both water and roadway traffic moving. There appear to be no significant adverse environmental effects on this project.
