This feasibility study examines the managerial guidelines and technical roadmaps for a regional implementation of satellite navigation for the Southern African Transport and Communication Commission (SATCC). This report, in two volumes, contains an assessment and evaluation of the current systems, national and regional goals, available technology/options, cost benefit analysis, recommended architecture, and a transition plan and implementation timetable. This project could produce $186 million in U.S. exports with the majority coming from 2 master stations and 150 reference stations.
