The parachute testing device, which includes a riser and a pilot parachute packed into a pack with a supporting canopy and the lug of which is connected to the locking device coupled first through the connecting riser with the aircraft platform, is distinguished by the fact that the riser of the pilot parachute is equipped with a number of loops fastened to a double interrelease locking device. Moreover, the riser of the pilot parachute is stowed in bundles between the loop and bound with breaking cord. This curtails testing time. (Author)
