The proposed project is located in Lamoille County, Vermont, and comprises reconstruction on new location of 1.8 miles of Route Vermont 100, to provide fast, safe, and efficient transportation through the Village of Morrisville. The project commences at a point on present Vermont 100 near the junction with State Aid Highway 2 and continues northerly on new location, west of present Vermont 100. It passes over the upper end of Lake Lamoille, crosses the St. Johnsbury and Lamoille County Railroad via grade spearation structure, and proceeds thru the westerly portion of Morrisville Village to a junction with Vermont Route 15, approximately 800 feet westerly of the present Vermont 100-Vermont 15 intersection.
