The United States Trade and Development Agency (TDA), through the US Government sponsored South Balkan Development Initiative, is supporting the modernization of transport infrastructure in the South Balkan region. The TDA provided a grant to the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport for a feasibility study for new intermodal terminal facilities at the Port of Bourgas. Manalytics International was selected as prime contractor to undertake the study. In cooperation with the Ministry and Port of Bourgas, Manalytics led a project team that conducted a comprehensive strategic, technical, and financial assessment to determine the scope and commercial viability of container and intermodal handling facilities at Bourgas. The project team consisted of Manalytics International, CTC Engineering of Sofia, and US-based Triangle Environmental and Gary Greene Counsulting Engineers.
