The project concerns alternative improvements for an interstate highway 95 transportation corridor in the Boston, Massachusetts, metropolitan area, for the purpose of providing a high-speed road system. Expected effects are discussed in relation to floodplains, water quality, soils, plant life and wildlife, residential areas, and land use.
