The project area is located approximately six miles south of Tiffin, the County seat of Seneca County. Improvements include lane widening on CR-6, relocating TR-131 a distance of 600 feet, and replacing the existing inadequate bridge over the Sandusky River. The probable impact of this improvement would be the elimination of a hazardous intersection with TR-131; improved fire protection for residents east of the Sandusky River; elimination of a narrow structurally deficient bridge; improved road riding qualities; and increased safety to pedestrians and cyclists. The adverse effects include the loss of small areas of flood plain land and pasture land, removal of trees along the existing road, and the removal of a quaint old bridge.
