It is proposed by the Michigan Department of State Highways to construct a freeway facility to Interstate standards, though this road is not part of the Federal-Aid Interstate system. This road will be consistent with M-14 already constructed at the western end, and with I-96 at the eastern end. Environmental impacts are discussed. (Author)
