The interferometric holography method was used to visualize adhesion defects between bonded materials simulating those existing in rocket propulsion systems. Nondestructive loads were applied, mostly pneumatic and thermal, to exhibit these defects. The nature and thickness of materials are influencing factors the effects of which were determined. Possible application to industrial tests is outlined.
