The closure is for the exhaust nozzles of missiles of the Polaris type. The closure ejects when subjected to 130 p.s.i.a. The structure includes a Styrofoam plug, a cellulose acetate facing plate adhering to the plug and a diaphragm which extends across the facing of the plug and around the rim of the nozzle.
