The objective of this document is to present the preliminary findings of the study examining the effects of using PuriNOx on the emissions, performance, and operations of Texas Department of Transportation's diesel vehicles and equipment. This document briefly summarizes the available literature regarding emulsified diesel fuels, presents the preliminary findings of the effects on performance and operations, discusses other areas of concern, and summarizes the analysis still to be performed. All of the projects principle tasks are still ongoing, and have not yielded sufficient data to make any assessments or recommendations.
