An integrated lift/drag controller for aircraft is described. The system integrates the control of engine power and devices which are capable of altering the lift/drag ratio of a powered aircraft. Specific application is to control the glide path angle and air speed of the aircraft during approach, flare, touchdown, rollout, and emergency descents. Diagrams of the system and details of the operation are presented.
