In 2003 Aerospace Services International conducted a feasibility study examining the airspace and systems and services within Jordan and the surrounding regions. The teams recommendations focuses primarily on: equipment maintenance, modernization, and replacement; equipment technician training; and resolution of civil airspace limitations due to special use airspace. The recommendations represent the best estimate of the technology and procedures to be implemented with objectives and plans for the near and immediate future. Recommendations are speculative in later years largely due to regional political issues.
