Calculating the density of the timber transportation network, in particular of rail wings, and determining the average distance of haulage are very important problems in the economy of logging enterprises. The solution of these problems consists in calculating the minimum cost for haulage of 1 cubic meter wood to the timber-carrying road, as a function of other variable expenses. (Author)
