This report is a compilation of papers presented at the 1986 International Aerospace and Ground Conference on Lightning and Static Electricity, held at the Stouffer Dayton Plaza Hotel, Dayton, Ohio, June 24-26 1986. It includes papers concerning lightning phenomenology, lightning characterization, modeling and simulation, test criteria and techniques, and protection of both Airborne and Ground Systems.
