Long-term viscoelastic effects computed to predict bursts. Spherical pressure vessels commonly made of filamentary composites for applications they must light in weight. Program developed for predicting failure of such vessel over long time span. Short-term failure pressures (bursting points) predicted, but long-term structual integrity of laminated vessels studied only now.
