This paper describes the test-related facilities of the NASA Stennis Space Center (SSC), which is a national testing and research center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, with the collocation of 19 federal research agencies for studying the environment, the space, the earth, and the oceans. The SSC test facilities include four large rocket test stands, numerous laboratories and research facilities, and two new facilities being currently build, the Advanced Solid Rocket Motor test facility and the Component Test Facility for testing liquid propulsion components for the Advanced Launch System.
