In preparing for the author's annual opportunity to address the largest in-person gathering of their members, he is reflecting on the changes they are witnessing in the transportation profession, as well as the many ways ITE is changing -- and improving -- to help our members keep up with and influence those changes. They are in the early stages of what he believes will be a period of rapid and transformational changes in transportation. These changes are being driven by the emergence of new technologies, new industry partnerships, and new business models. This is an exciting time to be working in the transportation field and with ITE's community of transportation professionals.
