TIRE and tube expenses take a large part of the commercial vehicle maintenance dollar. In fact, for 1948 they amounted to 26% of total maintenance costs.It is for this reason that anything that can be done to keep tire and tube expenses down will quickly pay for itself - and much more.The author discusses two general ways in which tire and tube costs can be-and are being - reduced:
