The application of new technology to the coming new generation of aircraft is causing the pilot community concern. The introduction of EPCS, the removal of control surface feedbacks to the control column, the removal of the physical interconnection between control columns, autothrottle thrust levers which are static, and CRT symbology are all subjects threatening the pilot-machine interface.
