The new light-duty hybrid truck developed by Hino Motors, Ltd. completely redesigned the traction motor, the inverter and the traction battery, which maximize output and efficiency. It also succeeds in balancing low fuel economy and low exhaust emissions by utilizing a combination of a new hybrid system control with specially developed diesel engine.
