An automatically guided mower has been developed which uses microprocessor controlled hydraulics to control steering and to perform error analysis. Once initiated, the mower will follow the contrast line between high and low grass and continue until the plot of grass is mowed. The type of sensor, along with the control and error algorithms have broad applications in mobile hydraulics.
