This work presents a modal testing of a mockup of beams, this mockup is representative of the dynamic behavior of the brazilian Satellite Launching Vehicle (VLS). The measurements were performed using 62 accelerometers and 2 excitations and the modal analysis was performed using the LSCE and PolyMAX methods available in a commercial software. A modal correlation was done between the experimental model and a finite element model, to verify if the finite element model is capable to reproduce the dynamic behavior of the structure.
