This specification covers a corrosion and moderate heat resistant steel in the form of investment castings. AMS5354F has been revised to require heat treatment to be validated by tensile testing on a lot basis (4.3.3) and eliminate qualification of master heats by tensile testing, require castings to undergo a homongenization heat treatment (3.3, 3.5.1), add new provisions for serialization (5.1.2), and is a Five Year Review and update of this specification.
