The tower crane cab has been seeking the most optimal product design solution. This study adopts the parallel computeraided industrial design method of exterior and interior, and systematically sorts out the correlation between the design elements from three aspects: function, cab form and ergonomics. The driver's behavior is divided into work behavior and life behavior, and the driver's psychological needs are considered in the cab form design. Based on the analysis of industrial design features of tower crane cab, this paper establishes the process framework of computer-aided crane cab industrial design using ergonomic database and tools, and complete a number of optimization solutions to the current problems related to the tower crane cab. Ergonomics software is used to verify the reasonableness of human-machine factors in three aspects: driver visibility, driver working posture comfort, and driver resting space comfort. Combined with the virtual design software to demonstrate the existing solutions, the satisfaction evaluation of the cab design solution was investigated using the scale score. Through the use of computer-aided industrial design technology in the design of the tower crane cab, the elements of the tower crane cab are reasonably divided and optimized, so that its appearance and internal space can be effectively improved. The final design solution enhances the ease of operation, comfort and psychological satisfaction of the driver. It is verified that CAID method is an effective analysis method for tower crane cab design analysis, and the final design also improves the efficiency and comfort of tower crane cab operation.
