This chapter describes mimicking both the structure and function of ant bridges by using the magnetic ribbon-like microswarm for electronic applications. Fe3O4 nanoparticles coated with dense gold surface layers form ribbon-like microswarms under the actuation of input oscillating magnetic fields. The reversible ultra-extensible ability of ribbon-like microswarm allows them to be applied to the electronics field, such as connecting two isolated electrodes, serving as microswitches, and repairing broken microcircuits.
