During the course of the text, many different issues related to the entry and descent into a planetary atmosphere have been discussed. The critical nature of entry conditions have been made clear, and the relation with the aero-thermal environment has been established. Earlier, in Section 3.6 it was estimated that 1 kg of something in a 200 km orbit around Earth contains about 32 MJ of energy.
