This paper focuses on the data processing and real-time monitoring methods for RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimums) flight tests, adhering to the guidelines such as CCAR-91 and AC-21–13. A commonly employed method for RVSM flight testing in commercial aircraft is the towed cone reference method. The crux of RVSM flight test outcomes revolves around obtaining the Altitude Measurement System Error (ASE). The paper further explores real-time monitoring strategies to ensure the effectiveness of the test flights, focusing on critical flight parameters and the ASE trends.
