Navigation systems have a variety of types and can provide information in different working conditions by various means. Thus, in practice, people seldom rely on a single navigation system but combine different navigation systems to form an integrated navigation system with better comprehensive performance. For example, rockets can use INS/CNS/GPS integrated navigation systems; aircraft can use INS/GPS/TNS integrated navigation systems; and even relatively simple land vehicle navigation systems are also based on GPS, path planning or DR (gyroscope/odometer) technology.
