The paper considers the optimal control methods of a gyro-stabilized platform stabilization loop in the presence of disturbances with the known power spectral densities or with known bounded L-norms. To simplify the practical implementation, the controller order is reduced. Advantages and possible shortcomings of the considered methods are discussed.
