The report presents an analysis for choosing a type of powertrains with air motor. The advantages and disadvantages of existing propulsion options for an air-powered vehicle are presented. The results of the calculation and selection of a propulsion air motor in the design of an air-powered vehicle from a project of the Faculty of Transportation at Ruse University are presented. The results of the analysis of the various designs of air motor drives are presented. On the basis of the analyzes made, the design of an air motor with precisely defined technical parameters was selected.
