This paper focuses on user attention and takes the objective evaluation index of automobile steering feel as the research object. Based on the subjective evaluation system of automobile EPS steering feel of an OEM, the top 10 subjective evaluation indexes that ranked the concern of ordinary driver users were screened out and converted into objectivized ones. By objectively quantifying the subjective evaluation indexes, a single scoring formula and a comprehensive scoring formula for the objective test based on the user’s attention were designed, and the standard range of the objective test was specified. Four specific models were selected for evaluation and testing. The results showed that the values of the total score and individual indicators of the objective test and subjective evaluation were very close to each other. The objective testing and subjective evaluation are consistent in the ranking of the four cars. It is proved that the objective evaluation system of automobile steering feel based on user attention can have a good correspondence with the subjective evaluation system of automobile steering feel based on user attention, and will effectively capture the real concern of ordinary users about steering feel.
