Several applications require the adaptation of the brake cylinder pressure from the original cylinder pressure generated by the brake control system. In most cases, this is executed as a reduction in brake cylinder pressure. The respective reduction is required e.g. in order to reduce the utilisation of the wheel-rail adhesion coefficient.
