Hydraulic servo actuators (HSAs) are now widely used in aircraft for flight controls and have important effects on the flight quality and safety. Due to the deformation of the linkage and transmission mechanism, the actuation performance becomes nonlinear and uncertain. A rigid model of mechanism that neglects deformation is commonly used to design actuation systems. However, this model tends to cause oscillations of the flight control system. In this paper, the effects of deformation in HSA system are considered and the characteristics of rigid-flexible coupling are analyzed. The model of multi-energy domain synthesis is built in the multidisciplinary simulation platform AMESim, which can meet the various engineering requirements and reduce the complexity of the modelling process. A rigid-flexible coupling modeling method is proposed and the influence of stiffness and deformation on control stability is investigated. In addition, a co-simulation environment of AMESim and ADAMS has been realized for the analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the rigid-flexible coupling, which improves the modelling accuracy of the characteristics of the rigid-flexible coupling in a single simulation platform.
